2013 Calendar Crafts for Kids

 2013 Calendar Blanks

Our 2013 calendars are available as calendar pads and A4 printed calendar sheets.

The calendar pads are supplied with or without covers and are ideal for adding to kids craft projects.  Alternatively, the printed calendar sheets are great for kids to embellish with a picture or greeting and some craft supplies.

All of our calendars are available in packs of different sizes for both kids home and group craft sessions.  For the first time this year we will also be selling money saving bulk packs of 500 calendars.

From Collage to Calendar - It's Simple

You can take any kids collage and convert this into a crafty gift by adding a calendar pad and a hanging hook.  This turns the most simple of crafts into a keepsake for kids to give as a gift, perhaps to Mum or Nan.

You could use a Christmas collage or a more general one - a Christmas collage calendar makes a nice Christmas themed craft and gift but there is the risk that this could get a bit "dated" by Easter....!

Carnival Mask Calendar Craft Idea

Kids love decorating carnival masks at every opportunity.  This calendar craft idea uses masks in a different way and although very simple it is extremely effective.  The finished projects will vary widely, partly depending on the crafters age and ability but also based on what you use.

For our carnival mask calendar we have used an A4 calendar blank, a black card carnival mask, sequins, feathers, self adhesive gel gems (any gems or jewels would work), gel pens and felt tip pens. We have used both tacky glue and 3D foam pads for an extra dimension.

Don't be limited by our colour pallet or design though - kids will love to create their own.

Make sure you use card carnival masks and not half face masks etc, as these fit into the space on the calendar and other styles don't.  Also, as these masks are made to be worn, you will need to cover up the hole where the elastic is meant to be - we have used a sequin - then drawing the elastic onto the background.

To Do List & Calendar Craft Idea

This A4 calendar sheet has been turned into a "To Do" list or memo holder.

This is a great idea for kids to make for Dad or Grandad and perhaps even for themselves - just add a "do the washing up" note!

You could design these in many different ways, the options are almost endless and only really limited by imagination and the contents of your craft box!  They really would be an opportunity for children to express their own creative flair.

You will need an A4 calendar sheet, hanging hook and a wooden peg - then add letters, kids craft stickers, foam shapes and anything else in your craft box and get crafting - it's that simple!

How to Make a Christmas Calendar Wreath

These calendar wreaths are lovely for kids to make and give to a Nan or other relative.  Children love screwing up the tissue paper and adding glitter and other embellishements.

It really is very simple.  You will need a card disc, tissue paper in red and green, a ribbon bow, tacky glue, glitter, perhaps some gems and of course your calendar pad and hanging hook.  The get craftting!
