Split Pins v Brads

There are many children's craft activities that involve the use of split pins, specifically puppet making and windmill making.

An ideal alternative to using plain split pins is to use brads - which are, put simply, decorative split pins used for paper crafts.

Not only do these come in a selection of sizes, they also come in a massive selection of colours and designs.

The larger ones would be suitable for kids crafts - obviously avoid anything suggesting the pins are "mini", unless working with older children.
